What We Do
Measured Building Surveys and Floor Plans
Building floor plans can be provided for any building from small residential to larger and more complex premises. The level of information shown on floor plans depends entirely on your needs and what you wish to be shown. This can range from the basic layout of walls, windows and doors, through to all fixtures and fittings including electrical socket positions, lights and switches.
We can provide you with elevation detail and cross section drawings that can be produced through any part of the measured building survey, and they normally show section information along the cut-line, the position of which can be determined by you so that the section contains all the information you require for your design purposes.
2D Services Coordination Plans
We produce fully coordinated service layout drawings detailing lighting, power, data, pipework, HVAC with other disciplines. Reflected ceiling plans can be provided which show all ceiling detail at the same orientation as the floor plan associated with it. Service coordination helps to avoid clashes with individual services and building structure. If it is carried out before installation work begins, it saves both time and money on any project. However, individual trades often fail to recognise the importance of producing workshop drawings. This being the case, combined services drawings ensure that all coordination issues are resolved prior to installation. This service can be either 2D or 3D.
3D Services Co-ordination Models
Coordination is paramount in the design development of the building services programme; the need to maintain access and servicing after the install is as important as the install itself.
3D software allows us to perform this task accurately and in a more cost productive manner, reducing errors and redraws. We can coordinate complex plantrooms and floor plans for all types of buildings, from hospitals, shops and restaurants to industrial units and plants, using Autodesk products.
Operation & Maintenance Manuals
On completion of your project we know how important it is to hand over the project to your client and provide high quality and comprehensive Operation and Maintenance manuals. We can collate your description of systems, technical data, specialist manuals, operating procedures, test and commissioning data and record drawings into binders and digital storage providing them with an easy single point of access to all the relevant data, all designed round your own corporate branding.
